The cactus grows so high. It stores water so efficiently in the desert.
Years ago, there was a movie starring Ingrid Begman, Goldie Hawn and Walter Matthau. The prickly cactus is a symbol of the dental assistant’s personality as played by Ingrid Bergman. In the movie, she slowly blooms and flowers just like the cactus blooms in the desert.
Actress Goldie Hawn plays the kooky girlfriend of the dentist (Walter Matthau). In time, the dentist falls in love with his cactus-flower dental assistant Ingrid Bergman. In 1970, Goldie Hawn won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
